About a week or two ago,my DVD drive, a Slimtype DVD A DS8A1H ATA Device, began to display itself as a CD Drive even though it is a DVD Drive. I have already tried the sfc/scannow command, uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it, removing the higher and lower filters in the registry editor, and I still have the same problem.
I have checked the HP Support and Drivers website for any updates, but i have found none. Are there any solutions to this problem?
Or,at the least, may I get a website that has an updated driver for my DVD Drive? Thank You in advance.
